AllGo Better World

AllGo Better World is our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme.

It’s built on the idea that sustainability isn’t just a nice-to-have, it’s a responsibility. We created AllGo Better World to focus on reducing plastic pollution, promoting recyclable products, and helping our clients support environmental charities through everyday actions.

We believe even small companies can make a big difference. And we’re just getting started.

Better World

Grounded In Action, Not Just Ambition.

Here are the practical steps we’re taking to reduce waste and drive impact.

Charity Support

We fundraise for our partners, The Ocean Cleanup, The Great Bubble Barrier, and Flossie and The Beach Cleaners to help reduce plastic pollution worldwide.
We’ve eliminated single-use plastics in our office and provided all employees with reusable water bottles and coffee cups.

Plastic-Free Office

Responsible Recycling

We responsibly recycle materials in our office and provide our clients with the tools and information to do the same.
AllGo Better World allows customers to donate through their corporate points programmes. We also offer the opportunity for Mastercard clients to donate the reminder of their balance to the cause, and we’ve added AllGo Better World as a gift option on AllGifts.ie.

Customer-Driven Donations

Eco-Friendly Materials

Our AllGo Mastercard Gift Cards are made from 79% recycled PVC and 21% degradable plastic - and are fully recyclable through household waste systems.
AllGo Better World is a growing commitment. We're constantly exploring new ways to reduce waste and support sustainability across everything we do.

The Ocean Cleanup

The Ocean Cleanup is a non-profit organisation developing advanced technologies to remove plastic from the oceans and intercept it in rivers before it ever reaches the sea.

Their goal is to clean up 90% of floating ocean plastic.

Every year, millions of tonnes of plastic enter the ocean – much of it from rivers. This waste collects in ocean garbage patches, where it circulates for decades, harming ecosystems, economies, and human health.

The Ocean Cleanup tackles the problem on two fronts: by cleaning up plastic already in the ocean and stopping it at the source through river interception.

Great Bubble Barrier

The Great Bubble Barrier

The Great Bubble Barrier is an innovative solution to plastic pollution in rivers. It uses a curtain of air bubbles to guide plastic waste to the surface and into a catchment system – without blocking boats or harming fish.

Every minute, the equivalent of one full truckload of plastic enters the ocean. Around 80% of that plastic comes from land, often carried through rivers and canals.

The Bubble Barrier runs 24/7 and can be installed in waterways of all sizes. It’s a smart, scalable way to stop plastic before it ever reaches the sea .

Flossie and The Beach Cleaners

Flossie and The Beach Cleaners is a registered Irish marine environmental charity.

Their mission is to engage all ages about the importance of protecting our marine environment, while actively cleaning beaches and campaigning for systemic change.

Through nationwide cleanups and education initiatives, they turn community action into lasting awareness and impact.

“We’re incredibly grateful to be supported by AllGo Group through their Better World initiative. This partnership will help us expand our educational outreach and continue protecting Ireland’s coastline, one beach clean at a time.”

Where Do You Start
If You Want To Make The World a Better Place?

For a long time, AllGo Group was too busy getting going and surviving recessions to worry too much about saving the planet. But we always wanted to do something more than just try to survive and make profit. And while we’ve always supported charities in different ways, nothing ever felt truly impactful.

That changed in January 2018, when AllGo’s MD, Gary, attended an Incentive Marketing Association seminar in Rotterdam. After a day of talks on rewards and incentives, the final speaker took the stage – Florian Dirkse, a Dutch adventurer who had sailed around the world and witnessed first-hand the scale of man-made plastic pollution at sea. Florian co-founded The Ocean Cleanup in 2013, an ambitious project to remove the trillions of pieces of plastic littering our oceans. He also spoke about a team of Dutch scientists developing an innovative way to stop plastic at its source – The Great Bubble Barrier.

By the end of Florian’s talk, it was clear this was something AllGo should get behind. As an island nation, Ireland is surrounded by water, and ocean damage directly affects us. If we could help in some small way to raise awareness and funds for these two organisations, we felt we would be making a genuine contribution to a better world.

Both The Ocean Cleanup and The Great Bubble Barrier welcomed our support, and back at base, our annual team kick-off meeting agreed a series of actions to launch what became the AllGo Better World programme.

Fast forward to 2025, and we decided it was time to add an Irish charity to our Better World Fund – one working hard on our own shores to tackle plastic pollution.

In July 2025, we ran our inaugural Green Month, raising funds for our existing partners and inviting our customers to nominate Irish environmental charities to join the programme.

The response was fantastic, we donated €6200 to ocean-saving charities, and we were delighted to choose Flossie and The Beach Cleaners to join our Better World Fund. Their grassroots energy and hands-on approach make them the perfect addition alongside The Ocean Cleanup and The Great Bubble Barrier.
