Social Recognition is a powerful tool to shine a light on great work that might otherwise go unnoticed. Peer Recognition empowers everyone to both nominate and get recognised for actions that support the company values and goals.
And it enables people managers to more easily identify and acknowledge the achievements of team members on a daily basis.
How It Works
With our Social Recognition feature, reward “Shout-outs” are published on the programme website timeline, allowing all colleagues and managers to add their congratulations and comments. Clients can choose from 4 different levels of social interaction –
1. View-only
Employees and managers can see Reward Shout-outs for all other employees.
2. View & Like
Employees and managers can like Reward Shout-outs for all other employees.
3. View Like, Comment, & Boost
Employees and managers can comment on Reward Shout-outs for all other employees.
4. Pick a Reward
Employees and managers can boost a Reward Shout-out by adding their own reward to an existing nomination.
In addition, clients can choose different levels of social recognition for different types of awards. For example, a company might decide to make non-monetary peer nominations social but not monetary awards. Or a company might enable Service Awards & Birthday Rewards for social recognition, but not On-the-Spot rewards.

View Only Social Recognition
- Automatically allocate monthly, quarterly or annual nomination credits based on the number of direct reports.
- Credits can carry over or expire.
- 1 Credit = 1 Reward Point = the value you decide for your programme.
- Up to 10 different Nomination Credit Levels can be configured.
View & Like
- When using credits to nominate for a reward, choose from a customised drop-down of predefined award levels – eg Gold Award (30 Credit / 30 Points), Silver
- Award (20 Credit / 20 Points), Bronze Award (10 Credit / 10 Points),
Awards Level names can be customised for your programme.
Commenting on Shout-outs
- No nomination credits left? Or only want managers to have credits but all employees to be able to nominate? No problem, with Simple Thanks everyone can send recognition (with zero credits / zero rewards) at any time, making recognition unlimited!
Boosting Rewards
- Nominations and Simple Thanks can be made subject to HR approval if required.
- If approvals are enabled, all nominations have to be approved in the programme admin portal by specified company admins before a reward is sent.
